In the mobile service tower at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, the first half of the fairing is moved into place around the THEMIS spacecraft. Feb 08 2007.
This constellation of five satellites aims to study energy releases from Earth's magnetosphere known as substorms, magnetic phenomena that intensify auroras near Earth's poles.
