Globular cluster M79 in Lepus

The globular cluster M79 (NGC 1904) is located about 40 000 light year away in Lepus. A large dust cloud is visible in the lower left of the frame. It is Gal 228.0-28.6. NGC 1886 is the edge-on galaxy in the upper right.
