Exoplanet orbiting three stars - illustration

GW Orionis, located just over 1300 light-years away in the constellation of Orion, has three stars and a deformed, broken-apart disc surrounding them. A Jupiter-sized planet forming seems to orbit the stellar trio. If confirmed, it would be the first ever exoplanet found to orbit three stars.
