Space Shuttle Discovery arrived at launch pad 39B at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, Fla., Nov. 9, perched atop the mobile launcher platform and carried by the massive crawler transporter. The shuttle assembly travels about one mile per hour on its 4.2-mile journey to the launch pad. The launch window for the STS-116 mission to the International Space Station opens Dec. 7.
