Space shuttle Atlantis rolls toward Launch Pad 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center on september 4 2008. The shuttle stack, with solid rocket boosters and external fuel tank attached to Atlantis, rest on the mobile launcher platform. Movement is provided by the crawler-transporter underneath. Atlantis is scheduled to launch on the STS-125 mission to service NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope.
