A Megalosaurid theropod dinosaur of the genus Torvosaurus relaxes among cycads and ferns 150 million years ago in what is today Colorado. In the background are juniper and ginkgo and in the sky flying reptiles of order Pterosauria. A meat-eater that grew to 35 feet long and weighed two tons, Torvosaurus was one of the largest carnivores of its time.
