Laguna Verde, a salt lake at 4350m in Chile. It's quite close to the highest volcano in the world, Ojos del Salado. The color of the lake comes from algae that live in it. Airglow, a chemical reaction in the atmosphere, shows up as a brutal green light just above the mountains (which are all about 5500m). The zodiacal light, Andromeda galaxy and the Pleiades are also visible, just before the start of the astronomical twilight.
