On bottom right, NGC 1068 (M77) at about 50 million light years away in the southern constellation of Cetus. It is a Seyfert 2 active galaxy with an active galactic nucleus and contains a massive black hole. On the top left, the edge-on NGC 1055 spiral galaxy. The mosaicked field is about the size of the full Moon.
