Summer has just began. Once the night dark, the South is embellished by the Milky Way with at its right: Scorpius (near the horizon), Ophiuchus, the tail and head of Serpens. On the left, bright Jupiter, Sagittarius, Aquila and Delphinus. Constellations mythological forms from "Uranographia" star atlas by Hevelius (1690) have been added. June 24 2008.
