Nedoceratops (formerly known as Diceratops) graze beneath a giant Oak tree 75 million years ago in what is today Wyoming. The ground birds on the right are from the predatory genus Avisaurus. About the same size and weight of the three-horned Triceratops, Nedoceratops had only two prominent horns and a rounded stump where the nasal horn would be. Oak trees emerged about 80 million years ago during the Late Cretaceous period.
