M63 (NGC 5055) is a spiral glaxy in the contellation Canes Venatici at about 35 million light-years from Earth. Visible in this image is a very faint, giant arc-loop feature in the halo of the galaxy Messier 63; this feature is the stellar stream of a disrupted dwarf satellite galaxy.
