One of the VLT telescopes (Very Large Telescope, consist of 4 giant telescopes each 8 meters in diameter) and several smaller auxiliary telescopes appear under starry sky of Cerro Paranal, Atacama Desert, Chile. In the night sky are stars of constellations Andromeda and Perseus. The Milky Way's galactic neighbor, the Andromeda Galaxy or M31, appears on the left and the Triangulum Galaxy (M33) appears at the top left.
