The Rosette Nebula in the constellation Monoceros.
To its center, the cluster NGC 2244 which contains about 30 OB type massive stars.
The Rosette HII region covers approximately 130 light years and contains some 10,000 solar masses of gas and dust. Total Exposure 18 Hours
