Astronaut Rex J. Walheim, STS-110 mission specialist, anchored to the mobile foot restraint at the end of the Canadarm2, or Space Station Remote Manipulator System (SSRMS) on the International Space Station (ISS), moves toward the S0 (S-Zero) truss on the International Space Station (ISS). Astronaut Steven L. Smith (out of frame), mission specialist, worked in tandem with Walheim during the space walk. Along with setting up tools outside, the bulk of their time during this first scheduled session of extravehicular activity (EVA) was spent making initial power and data connections between the station and the S0. They also bolted the two forward struts that will permanently hold the truss into place. Apr 11 2002.
