At the end of September, at the end of the night, the East horizon is displaying a faint, fuzzy and tilted glow: it's the zodiacal light formed by the dust near the Sun along the plan of the Solar System. It extends to about 40° of elevation. In this 180° panorama, the zodiacal light is easily visible despite the glow of the city of Audierne, crossing the Milky Way. Constellations mythological forms from "Uranographia" star atlas by Hevelius (1690) have been added. Brittany, 27 september 2008.
