Turów coal mine or KWB Turów, is a large open pit mine in the southwest of Poland, located outside Bogatynia, Lower Silesia. It represents one of the largest lignite reserves in Poland. To the north (top of image) is the Turów power station. Image taken from the international space station (ISS) in april 2016.
