The Kliuchevskoi volcano on the Kamchatka Peninsula in Russia. The  volcano was near its peak on launch day, 10 days earlier, but a nowstorm left very little indication of the major event that had occurred here, except for the ash-covered summit and the large black flow down the northern flank of the mountain.
