This mosaic of MERIS (MEdium Resolution Imaging Spectrometer) images is centred over the country of Poland (dark green area). It is located in Central Europe and is bordered to the west by Germany, to the south by the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Ukraine and Belarus to the east and to the north by the Baltic Sea, Lithuania and Russia.
